Markets are divided into two main categories: Horizontal and Vertical. These represent types of construction projects. Horizontal construction generally happens over large areas or long distances, projects that tend to be built horizontally rather than vertically. Vertical markets are projects that build upwards, think tall structures or buildings.
Horizontal projects consist of roads, streets, highways, bridges, utilities, parks and energy production.
Vertical projects consist of the construction of buildings and vertical structures.
Within each main category, there are Markets which are then divided into more specific markets, or Submarkets. Each project will be assigned to a Submarket unless there are no Submarkets in the Market. However, you can search by Category, Market or Submarket in certain search forms.
